Add Address to Rent Roll Parser
📹 A video walkthrough of this process is available at the top of this article.
Why the address matters
When you parse a rent roll, Archer needs to know which property it belongs to. The address connects your parsed data to the correct property in Archer's database — which is what enables comps, location analytics, and pipeline tracking.
How to add or confirm the address
During the parsing workflow, Archer will prompt you to search for or confirm the property address. Type the street address, and Archer will search its database for a match.
If the property appears, select it. If it doesn't appear, you can submit a property addition request (see "Adding a property that's not in Archer's database").
Tips
- Search by street address rather than property name — names change with ownership, but addresses don't.
- If you get multiple results, confirm by checking the unit count and city/state.
- The address you select determines which location analytics, market data, and comps get pulled into your model.
