Accessing your Archer account

Learn how to sign in to Archer via the web app or Excel Add-In, and what to do if your login link has expired.

Logging in to the web app

Go to app.archer.re or visit archer.re and click Sign In in the upper right corner. You have two ways to sign in:

Option 1 — Magic link
Enter your work email and click Continue. Archer will send a login link to your inbox — click it to access your account.

Option 2 — Sign in with Microsoft
Click "Sign in with Microsoft" and complete the standard Microsoft login process using your work account.

Company SSO: If your company has SSO enabled, entering your email and clicking Continue will automatically redirect you to your company's Microsoft login page, managed by your IT team. No extra steps needed — just enter your email as usual.

Logging in to the Excel Add-In

Open the Archer Add-In in Excel. You'll see the same sign-in screen with three options:

Option 1 — Magic link
Enter your work email and click Continue. Click the link in your inbox and you'll be signed in to the Add-In automatically.

Option 2 — Sign in with Microsoft
Click "Sign in with Microsoft" and complete the Microsoft login process.

Option 3 — Login with API key
You can still sign in by entering your API key directly. Find your API key in your Archer account settings.

Company SSO: If your company has SSO enabled, entering your email in the Add-In will redirect you to your company's Microsoft login — the same as on the web app.

Troubleshooting Login

What if my login link is expired?

Login links expire after a short period for security. To get a fresh one, go to app.archer.re, enter your email, and click Continue. A new link will be sent to your inbox.

Still having trouble? Email support@archer.re and we'll look into it.

What if I have to sign in everytime?

Having to click the magic link each time you navigate to Archer? Check the bookmark you're using.

If your bookmark URL show app.archer.re/login, re-save it using app.archer.re instead. Bookmarking the /login page treats each visit as a new session, which is why Archer keeps sending you a magic link.

If updating your bookmark doesn't resolve the issue, email support@archer.re.
