How to enable Macros in Excel

Why macros are needed

Some Archer models use macros for sensitivity analyses, scenario toggling, or custom calculations. If macros are disabled, these features won't work.

How to enable macros

In Excel for Windows:

1. Open Excel → File → Options → Trust Center → Trust Center Settings
2. Click Macro Settings
3. Select "Enable all macros" or "Disable all macros with notification" (recommended)
4. Click OK and restart Excel

In Excel for Mac:

1. Go to Excel → Preferences → Security & Privacy
2. Under Macro Security, select "Enable all macros"
3. Close Preferences and restart Excel
