Mapping Headers

📹 A video walkthrough of header mapping is available at the top of this article.

What header mapping does

After Archer extracts data from your rent roll, it needs to know what each column represents. Header mapping is where you confirm (or correct) Archer's identification of each column.

How it works

Archer's AI pre-maps most headers automatically. You'll see the suggested mapping for each column, and you can accept or change any of them.

Green headers mean Archer is confident. Yellow or unmatched headers mean Archer needs your input.

Click on any header to change its mapping from a dropdown. If a column isn't relevant, you can mark it as "Ignore."

Why this step matters

Accurate header mapping ensures your rent roll data flows correctly into your underwriting model. Taking 30 seconds to confirm the mapping prevents hours of fixing downstream.

Machine learning improvement

Every mapping you confirm or correct trains Archer's AI for future parses.
