Multiple models and scenarios for the same property
How to save and compare multiple underwriting scenarios for the same property — aggressive, conservative, different hold periods.
How it works
Every time you hit Save to Archer, a new version is saved under that property's underwriting tab. Versions are timestamped and preserved — nothing gets overwritten.
Your pipeline always displays data from the most recent save. But all previous versions remain accessible.
Comparing scenarios
On the property page in the web app, scroll down to the Underwriting Activity section. You'll see every save you've made. Check the boxes next to any two versions and click Compare — Archer shows a side-by-side comparison of key metrics.
Working with multiple model templates
If you have two different Excel model templates (e.g., a "skinny" screening model and a detailed analysis model), you can upload both in Settings, then Underwriting Models. When you run an underwrite, select which model to use from the dropdown.
This lets you do a quick screen with the skinny model, decide it's worth pursuing, then re-run with the detailed model — same property, same parsed data, different template.
